What's in a name?

A lot. And that is why we still haven't managed to come up with a name for our little girl. I never thought it would be so hard to come up with a name for our daughter. And the pressure is even more intense knowing that she will be stuck with that name forever and it's up to mom and dad to come up with a good one.


We are trying to find a name that:

  1. sounds nice by itself and sounds even better when put together with our family name
  2. doesn't have a negative meaning or history to it, and
  3. doesn't remind us of anyone we would not like to be reminded of (and mind you, a lot of good names have been rejected thus)

Needless to say, the most popular question I've been getting asked recently is, yes you guessed it, "What are you gonna name your baby?" Admittedly, right now, it would be an awful lot easier to answer what we're not gonna name our baby. But hey, I'm not losing hope. I know we're not far from nailing that elusive perfect name.
